NADEC held interactive activities at its head office to close its campaign marking Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October. A large number of employees attended and took part in the event, which was part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support a secure work environment and raise awareness of the importance of protecting data and digital systems.

The event combined learning with entertainment through a series of awareness and recreational stations. These introduced participants to key cyber risks, emerging threats and common tactics used by hackers, as well as the fundamentals of protecting data and devices and following safe cybersecurity practices.

Employees also took part in awareness activities and games. Gifts and prizes were distributed in recognition of their participation and to encourage them to continue adopting safe cybersecurity practices.

The campaign forms part of NADEC’s continued efforts to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and capabilities. This includes developing its digital systems, enhancing the readiness of its systems and procedures, and implementing initiatives and projects that support data protection and business continuity.
