The National Agricultural Development Company (Nadec) is celebrating its 44th anniversary through a series of events and activities taking place throughout the month of August. These celebrations are aimed at the company’s employees at its headquarters, as well as across various projects and work sites in different regions of the Kingdom.
Nadec was established in 1981 by a royal decree issued by King Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (may he rest in peace). It became the first joint-stock agricultural company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and began its journey in supporting food security and developing a sustainable agricultural system aligned with the goals of achieving self-sufficiency and boosting the national economy.
Over four decades, Nadec has experienced rapid growth and significant expansion, becoming one of the largest integrated companies in the field of agricultural and food production, processing, and distribution. Its portfolio includes hundreds of products that reach millions of consumers daily, both within the Kingdom and abroad.
This occasion reflects Nadec’s pride in its rich national legacy, its appreciation for its employees, and its ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation. It aligns with the goals and initiatives of Saudi Vision 2030, striving for a more sustainable future and products that meet the highest standards of quality.
